Range Information

Facilities: Discount Gun Mart and Indoor Range offers a modern 8 position indoor shooting range. Our facility is complete with automatic target returns, state-of-the-art ventilation and lighting. We are equipped to handle all standard and magnum pistol calibers and pistol caliber rifles, such as .44 magnum carbine. Shotguns and high-powered rifles are not allowed.

Services: We offer a wide variety of rental guns for use on our range, and eye and ear protection are available if you do not have your own. We also have on-site gunsmithing services.

Products: Discount Gun Mart offers a huge selection of ammunition and targets. Since 1982 we have been known as San Diego's low price leader in firearms. We stock a wide variety of firearms and can order most others very quickly. We have a large selection of shooting accessories in our inventory and can order most everything else.

Non-Member Pricing: Range time is paid on a per visit basis -- NO TIME LIMIT*! The first shooter on the lane is $10.00, each additional shooter is $7.00. Limit of three shooters per lane. Gun rentals start at $10.00 plus ammunition.

*No time limit during NON prime-time hours. During prime-time hours, range fees are charged on a per hour basis, additional time charged in 1/2 hour increments. Prime-time hours are: Friday: 5:00PM - 10:00PM, Saturday & Sunday: all day, and holidays: all day.

Membership Benefits: Members shoot at no charge. Members receive discounts on ammo, targets, accessories and firearms. Members may reserve a lane up to 1 week in advance. Members also receive discounts on gun rentals and get free eye and ear protection. Member's guests receive discounts on range time. Membership is a low $249 per year. Active Duty Military & Police membership $140 per year. See store for details.

Guests: Tourists and out-of-town visitors are welcome. (English literacy by at least one person in the party is necessary to explain range rules and procedures.) Non-Resident Aliens subject to certain restrictions (see FAQ question #9)
